“¿はなみーン?” — This is a play on the words hamami which is the popular past time of picnicking and hanging out under the cherry blossoms when in season, and nameeen?, which is of course a quickened way of asking know-what-I-mean? This was a deductive thought process based on the first song picked for the mix, a cover of ‘Pink and Blue’ by Andre 3000 of Outkast, literally thinking of those two colors, and trying to figure a visual for the cover art, and tying it all into IMPULSE TRAVELS encompassing international vibes.”
